Fireworks Help!
 To get a better score, is it better to try and hit all the fireworks and try and get the highest rating or is it better to only get fireworks where you can click and get FLAWLESS? which will get you a better score at the end? like if 2 purple fireworks went up at the same time at oposite sides of the screen: would u: 1) click one purple one and get a GOOD or AWESOME and go for the otherone and get a(n) AWESOME or FLAWLESS? or 2) wait for the star next to one of the purple ones and click it to get flawless and wait for the next one because your flawless bonus can go up? which is a better strategy?

You want to get the one that gets you Flawless. Unless it gives you an extra Combo, then you get 1 good/great and the other awesome/flawless

Going for only the flawless generally gives you more points if you are good with timing.

The advice I give everyone is to get really good at getting Flawless hits. The more flawless hits in a row, the more points. Once you're good at getting mostly flawless hits, then go for the combinations (especially in levels 3, 4, and 5).

If you have two of the same firework on the same screen, which shoot out at the same time, I think you should press the space-bar when they have stars next to them. The space bar shoots every firework on the screen, and obviously if you hit space bar at the right time, you're gonna get two flawless!

But you dont want to hit space if other kinds of fireworks are there. It gets rid of your Flawless bonus.

Yup, both Wondermanforever and I have scored above 7500... on a daily basis.

I finally watched that video of GoofyGeggy playing a game of fireworks. After I got my jaw back in where it belongs attached to my skull, I played and used his method and I without much effort achieved 4780 points. I was amazed at how quickly the points went up in such little amount of time. I figure if I can get my timing on right, I am pretty sure I can acheive 6500 or more after a while. I will be much closer to getting my yellow car finally lol. I play daily and every so often AliasSpike, GoofyGeggy and others are out there getting astronomical points while I the meager upstart is in second place battling to keep up with the heavy hitters lol. So the only real way to get the scores they get is to get good at timing flawless hits so you can keep up the multiplier and practice practice practice. I can't remember the web page, but AliasSpike placed a post on game secrets and I am so amazed that unlike pokemon, you don't have to catch em all lol.

Glad your game has improved, spacerightsummer! Keep up the practice.
There's nothing special about what I do or how I play, so I know all of you are quite capable of reaching those scores you're striving for! Sadly I can't post the video here because of site restrictions, but I would assume a basic internet search could get you there. |
