The Gingerbread Bench is released as part of the Happy Holidays VMK Party.


December 24th and 25th

VMK holds a VMK Holiday Party! HOST_s built holiday rooms that players could visit. Players were awarded a Gingerbread Bench prize when they entered one of the party rooms and could get another prize by re-entering a party room every half an hour. Despite multiple party rooms, there were still long, slow moving lines to enter.

The iPod Sweepstakes, now that was HILARIOUS.

I thought (CL_)AmazingSam was the person running that competition, so I confronted her in VMK asking how she got VMK to run it for her. She replied something along the lines "I only reposted VMK's news onto VMK Fan Site . net".

I thought she actually ran it when she only posted it for us to discuss. Man.. 2005.. good days.

I fondly remember rushing onto VMK on Christmas Eve to see how many of these wreaths I'd received from friends and was absolutely overwhelmed that I'd received so many. That feeling quickly ended when I realized I couldn't figure out who had sent them and how I could thank them for their precious gift individually.

Even worse, I was surprised how many "clones" I had that had negative balances from the gifts I'd given even though I had figured out my credits balance and tried to make sure I had enough money. I felt so bad that I'd over given from these clones, that I worked hard to settle my debt to VMK and brought their nets back to 0.

Christmas in VMK was no doubt my most favorite time ever! I loved the feeling of it! Being wrapped up in my warm blanket with the heater on as I sat at the computer playing VMK while it looked freezing cold outside. The christmas music and christmas layout added into the game added to the magic feel to it. Hate it so much I'll never get to experience that feeling ever again
