Where do we buy those VMK Cards?
Do they contain codes for VMK? |

Im pretty sure you have to buy the pirate pin sets and ask for the card codes. They'll give you a card containing the code.

So we just get them in VMK and like not in stores or anything? Lol.

The only way now is to buy a box of pirate pins at either WDW or DLR. That box contains two pirate pins and two codes. There miight also be the animator desk, but am not entirely sure. For best results on VMK in the parks, I suggest contacting Jacques.

Not all VMK Cards are available
In order to get the pirate pin set, you have to go to DLR or WDW and buy a pirate pin set. Inside of the pin set are 2 pirate cards (picked at random) which both of them contain a code. The rest of the cards are retired (Unless there is something Idk about) |

Alright, thank you very mucho. :]
Has anyone bought them before? If you enter the codes do you know what you earn? Last edited by Wendot; 03-12-2008 at 12:49 AM.. Reason: merged double post |

The Pirate quest cards and pins are sold in the park but may also be ordered by phone , The max amount to order at a time is 5 boxes to get the most at the same shipping cost. Other cards can not be ordered that I know of. The VMK website Gives a link on where to order the cards
Here is the link it gives http://eventservices.disney.go.com/p...g/pin?id=21440 We ordered 4 boxes for our Christmas Stockings! I got a Pirate Couch, A pirate Stool in one box and the other I got a pirate prison room and a firewall... the other boxes went to my hubby and i am sure he traded the things he got away.. I kept all mine! |

Just look at the list on VMK. There is a list of cards... speaking of crads, I freaked (in a bad way) when I found out about the trading card game, but then I was like, wait... they aren't selling them, just having the game.
Does anyone think that when the regular edition comes out, it will have buyable cards? Do you think this is a good thing? |

Here's a shot of all the cards released at the parks.
(Click to enlarge) There are a few cards in there twice, as there were differences between the DLR and WDW versions. The only cards that could be purchased directly were the Pirate Pin set (lower right corner). All the rest were quest prizes, gifts with purchase, or free handouts. |

I don't think you can buy the cards. You buy other items that will contain a bonus of a card. Or, you used to be able to do in park quests for the cards

That is correct. You cannot, and never could, buy just the cards. Any of them. The only cards that came close were the pirate pin set, and those included the pins.

There were 6 merchandise cards, card you got when you bought somehting.
Mirror card when you bought somehting in the Magic shop in the parks, Celebration pin when you bought a real pin, gold mickey ears when you bought a hat at the hat shop, Mickey T-shirt when you bought a real shirt in a store, wanted poster when you bought souvenir photo near Spalsh Mountain or was it Pooh corner, and Don't forget when you bought something (candy) at the Penny arcade you got the penny press card, which I think they brought back. *Quick look at the card list says retro penny press is not retired.* |

Right, those are the gift with purchace cards I mentioned. The cards were free, but you had to spend money in the shops to get them.
