Just returned
I just spent 10 days at WDW with my wife, daughter and grand kids. Grand kids give you a great excuse to have fun. The biggest recommendation I can make is to relax, take your time, and enjoy it as you see it. I discovered early that trying to maintain a schedule is impossible because of all the things that you come across that you don't know is going on. I even purchased Birnbaum's Guide to WDW before going, and although it was helpful, it did not prepare me for all there is to see and do. I feel like I need to go back for 2 more weeks just to see everything I missed the first time.
Speaking of unexpected, I gave the girls a day off and took the kids to Typhoon lagoon one day. My grand daughter went nuts when we got there and found out Hanna Montana was doing a live concert there that day. Memories like this never die, so if your planning on going, relax, have fun, take it as it comes to you. |

Can't wait to see the finished product. I read through most of the thread, and can't wait till we get more. Maybe I'll print it out before we go. You know, you could find a publisher and sell this as a book. I'm not kidding. Then I could say "I knew that guy that is so famous!"
I can't remember if this was on the list or not, but I'm going to write a paragraph on 50's Prime Time Cafe (can't remember exact name O_o) in MGM The Prime Time Cafe, located in Disney's MGM Studios, is a great stop if you're looking for good food and a wonderful setting. The building is set as a home from the 50's. From the television to the color theme to the paper on the tables, everything is wonderfully set to take you right back to the fifties. You waitress "mom" or waiter "pop" will make sure you behave yourself. From yelling for your manners to embarrasing you for clumsiness, these servers will not let you do something socially incorrect! Make sure you stop by for some good food and a laughing good time! I don't have a price range.. can't remember those small details from that long ago. On the HM ride, you wrote "We have 999 happy haunts, but there's room for 1,000 more." You can either write there's room for 1,000 or there is room for one more, but not both. There is a parade at EPCOT... I'm not sure about now, but about the date of the time you said there wwasn't, there was some sort of wishes parade going on. You made a mask, and there was a small paper star attached. You punched out the middle, and in the parade you dropped it in a bag and made a wish. I'm not sure about now however.
