I'm actually rather interested in it. I don't know much about it yet, but I have heard that it is going to be an action/adventure movie. So it should be exciting. Who knows, we might even get to see the backside of water. Wow!

Im Interested because there really isnt anything to make a movie about because you just go through a cruise by heh im not Disney

I'm guessing that this movie will have very little to do with the actual Jungle Cruise attraction, much like the Pirates of the Caribbean films had only slight nods to the original Pirates attraction. They'll probably just keep the name and a few iconic scenes (the rhino treeing the explorers, the gorillas raiding the camp), and come up with a completely new, generic adventure story.

Hopefully, if they do make a movie off of it, it will be action packed yet G or PG rated.

They'll only change the ride if the movie's a hit. I don't think this project has much going for it. Pirates had pirates, and so was a big smash. Look at what happened to the movies based on the Haunted Mansion and the Country Bears.

Now a really bad idea would be an It's a Small World movie....

Hey! The Disney True-Life Adventures, which were the basis for the Jungle Cruise ride in the first place, are classics and are very entertaining! They're all available on DVD (finally!), and I recommend them all highly, especially Jungle Cat and Secrets of Life. There's nothing wrong with learning a little something while watching a good movie!

Haven't we heard about this before? Isn't it that story of a boy or girl getting sick and the only way to cure him/her is getting this certain rare plant in the Amazon or whatever? I'm rather excited about a Jungle Cruise movie!
