Disney Waterpark Rumor or not?

So Disneyland has strawberrie fields and a parking lot most of the time empty and its being talked about that a water park might be built there. Tell me what u think! have u heard this? Rumor or Not?

That's certainly an interesting rumor. I was looking at a map I think on the Anaheim tourist website and it showed this area a block down the road from Disneyland that said something to the effect of future theme park construction. They have been so built around anything they do is going to get so spread out though unless they start buying out everything around it to build their own stuff.
I haven't heard about a water park though personally.

Yes, there are nearby strawberry fields that Disney has their eye on. The last one they got a hold of, they turned into the Mickey & Friends parking structure.

There has been talk of a new park on the field for at least 10 years now. But I feel that until DCA is successful, they won't be putting any money into a third park. Oh, and that mostly empty parking lot you mentioned? That's the cast member overflow parking lot for the summer help. It fills up.

Interesting rumor. But I do love strawberries. Though, like Jacques said, DCA must first be as successful as Disneyland before making a new park.
