Take ads off?

I was wondering are we able to take those dreaded ads off the top of the VMKF page? Some of them are children-inappropriate and I don't want my younger siblings clicking them.

I don't think they're taking theem off anytime soon. They need more ways to make money to keep the site running, and ever since they gave away free signatures and userpages, there's not much more to do than donate. Also because more people have left less people are donating

a) website name [www._________________.com]
b) and where it is located on your page
[or simply take a screenshot] then they will remove it asap.

1) Don't look at the ad's.
2) Write the said site down and send it to the mods, theyll take care of it.
3) Prevent your siblings from clicking on them.
4) Don't do anything.
5) All of the above.

If you have Firefox, download Adblock Plus. Then, you can just type in http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/ and then the ads are gone forever.

I never read the ads, so I don't even know that theres any inappropriate stuff... avoid looking at them :P LOL

and unfortunately for me, no other browsers other than IE are working on my computer anymore... Neither is Thunderbird...

I use to think that they were terribly annoying, but now Ive gotten use to them and I dont even notice them anymore. But I have seen some inappropriate ads on them, but I just report them to a Mod and then they deal with it. That's all you have to do.

I thought that could be impossible or something but it isn't!


But doesn't Nick get paid when you click on the ads?
So couldn't we just rapidly click the ads and have Nick get a boatload of money?

B. Don't allow your younger sibilings on this site.
C. It fetches money and without it VMKF would close .
D. I rarly see any bad ones 0_o.

As everyone else has said: report the ad to a moderator as soon as possible. When Nick has a chance, he will block the ads.

How do you download Ad-blocker?

Tools > Add-Ons > Extensions > Get Extensions

You should find it there, it's a really great program to block ads, images, and frames!
