Vista Ultimate didnt come with Windows Aero

My friend bought vista and gave it to me after they installed it. I checked the compatibility, its compatible. I installed it fine by Upgrading instead of installing it and deleting everything. Im 100% sure im going to the right place to turn on Windows Aero, and its not there. Could anyone help, pretty, pretty, please? :P
