last i saw wiki i looked at the items. the beta that were re released then retired again still has the beta sign. they should not have it now.
not sure if it is still like that. |

This is very intentional. We leave the "beta" tag there so people know that it was beta, but also provide complete release/retire information so people can judge how rare the item might be.

I think the "beta" graphic should be removed from any item which has been rereleased since beta. You can still indicate that the item was available during beta and then retired by using the "released" and "retired" notes, but the presence of the word "beta" on items which are now merely "rare" only confuses people.

You do have a point, Neoteny. Wait, I have an idea. How about make a 're-released beta' section? Or change the tag to 're-released beta'?

Of course, Hula's Yard Sale kind of throws a wrench into the whole "beta" thing. |

I suggest putting a 're-released beta' tag and put the date when it was re-released, plus a sentence at the end, like: 'Re-released beta is different from beta- their value is less rare' or something like that.

I don't think any of that is necessary. The blue Leota Table, for example, is not beta any more. Its value is roughly equivalent to that of a Heart Chair from Valentine's Day. The Heart Chair was never a beta item. Both the Heart Chair and the Blue Leota Table are retired items now, and neither of them is beta.

I am not sure if you understood my post. 'Their' refers to the re-released beta items, not to beta (only) items. .~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~. |

I understand your post. I think "re-released beta" is an oxymoron and should not be used as a label.

All the holiday stuff has been retired so now you can add retired to all the holiday items and to the stuff on the Timeline page.
