LOL Blossomflower I agree. The Rants forum was a place to let out your frustrations, debate other members, and learn opposing viewpoints that you never thought existed. It was the center of free speech, the portal of opinions, and the place to build and develop writing skills.

I realize that there are other places on VMKF where some of these components exist, but I don't believe there is another place where all of these components exist together (Well actually, if there was, that would just give people another place to rant, but that is beyond my point). I'm just sort of in denial on this decision, but then again, I'm leaning towards wanting the Rants forum back (my personal view, not endorsing anyone else's). I really enjoy a place where I can vent and educate myself at the same time.
