I just upgraded from Internet Explorer 6.0 to the new version 7.0 RC1 today.
And now I have the same problem as most of you, my Backspace Key does not back out the letters, it functions as a HotKey and takes me back to the login screen. This is unacceptable !!! I can't find any help or support for this problem at Microsoft.com either. But I see people have listed in their forums this problem. Thanks and see you out there, TheLittlePrince |

I have to open a piece of scratch text and type a few spaces there, and it works again after that, but sounds like two symptoms of a common problem for the site. |

DELETE and BACKSPACE do the same thing...

DELETE and BACKSPACE have the same purpose: to remove information that you typed/pasted. They are used differently though: you highlight the object then hit delete/backspace to remove it. Pressing BACKSPACE will move the cursor back one character and remove any object it was next to.
In this case, this is what's happening: say for example I mispell the word, "DISNEY." I actually type "DIZNEY". When I press BACKSPACE to delete the word I am logged out of VMK and sent back to the sign on screen. In order to correct the spelling, I need to highlight the word "DIZNEY" and press the DELETE button, not BACKSPACE. At this point I can type a new word. The probelm with this is that it's very time consuming, especially if you're talking to somebody or playing a game. I am getting this error as well. From what I read, it's the new version of IE that is doing this. Is this correct? And if it is, what must I do to correct it. Thanks!

Depends on what type of Internet ye be usin. The problem probably is either:
1.Your internet is newer or has been dis-connected and only people who had it have it and have not many controls. Or 2.Your keyboard might have wires not working properly. Check it by taking it to a Computer Fixer/Web-master. |

Let the page finish loading before you start typing! That is what happens to me all the time. I can get started typing then hit backspace, and have to re-type it. The space bar problem is usually solved by just simply re-starting your computer.
