- Author Note: Fairy ( Queen.Isabel ) is semi-scaring me ( ) , so here's the third to last chapter. -

Cookie quickly teleported to Fantasyland in the sky. Why was Disney doing this? Didn't they care she was still in there? What was the deal?
Would she be... deleted?

QueenieD was already there.
QueenieD: We have to get out. There isn't much time.
Cookiepixie: But How!?

QueenieD paused and stared past her. Cookie spun around and saw that they had not been the only ones in the game. At least they weren't now.
Before her stood a person in staff's clothing. Her name tag made Cookie silent in shock.

It was VMK_Red. But how? Cookie's question was quickly answered.
VMK_Red: I am sorry for all this. I really, really am.
VMK_Red: I went way too far.. no Assistant has made a mess like this.
QueenieD: .. Scarlet?
VMK_Red: Yes. It's me.
QueenieD: It's been so long. I'm sorry for everything I said.

Cookie gained her courage.
Cookiepixie: Can someone please explain what is going on!?
VMK_Red: QueenieD and I..
QueenieD: Are sisters.
VMK_Red: Our father was Assistant. We were his only children, so he had to choose.
QueenieD: He chose her. She was more "magic sensitive" than I, apparently.
VMK_Red: You were in the goth phase, remember?
QueenieD: .. Anyway we became distant. I got a job at Sulake, her at Disney.
VMK_Red: Disney asked me to be staff in this new game - VMK. So, I accepted.
QueenieD: And we saw each other the first day, but we were professional.
VMK_Red: So here we are.
CookiePixie: No, Not Here We Are! We are stuck in a game if you hadn't noticed.
VMK_Red: I was getting to that.
VMK_Red: When I learned that it was closing, I knew I had to step in. That's what Assistants did.
VMK_Red: It was easy, since I had been in the planning process. Yavn, or Seth, is actually a nice guy.
VMK_Red: But not so smart anyone noticed that there was a slight change in the system.
VMK_Red: I can't say how I did it, but I used the knowledge of Assistants and stories I'd heard from my father
VMK_Red: to make it so if the game were to close, a player would become the game, in a way.
Cookiepixie: How is that possible?
VMK_Red: When Walt was alive, people asked: How could familys have fun together?
VMK_Red: Could one man change the world?
VMK_Red: Could people feel magic, just going to a park?
VMK_Red: Walt did the impossible. By asking a question, you know there must be a answer. Or, it could remain and unanswered question,
VMK_Red: Because somewhere, someone or something you'll never know knows the question.
VMK_Red: Great things are achieved. Some things are lost to history, some left with pieces, and most unexplained. But they were still done.
VMK_Red: So I can't say how it's possible, but you are here to witness it is.
Cookiepixie: Are you the one that knows how to get out of here?
VMK_Red: Yes I am, and I think you know too.

-Sorry for the wait, guys! Busy Real Life, enough said! So, without further ado, the next chapter! Remember, after this, only 1 left! -

What? What was she talking about.. she had no idea! I mean, this was hardly something they taught you in school (and she would know, unless it taught that one time she fell asleep in language arts when they were talking about writing- Come on! Boring!) How was she expected to know?

Unless...
No, not that simple. But the more she thought about it, the more it made sense. And the more she felt like the biggest dumbo in the world. But why hadn't she figured it out before?
Cookie knew that answer too (someone needed to do some major thought organizing!). She didn't want to leave. VMK forever was a dream. She wasn't prepared to let go or leave. She wanted to stay there. Only when real life was threatened did she really have any hope for wanting to go. It was so hard to let go of a part of her life. The truest part about it. But now she had to. It was the only way for her to not only return to the non-virtual world, but to stay alive.

Cookiepixie: I know.
QueenieD: You do?! Then Why am I still made of pixels? Let's go!
VMK_Red: Is there something you want to do first?

She looked around. Here she was, in the very place she had started a huge part of her life. And it was going to end.. forever. Yet there was nothing she could do about it. Every pixel, every crate, every bug, and statue or character.. gone. It was sickening. The endless amount of players who had fought had lost. The battle was over. A company they had onced loved had betrayed them... with a fake assurance of hope for the future their only mask for the face of greed they wore when they gave the news. But it was over. It was done.

Cookiepixie: No. Nothing I want to do.

She looked at her belt. QueenieD finally understood.
QueenieD: All this time!
QueenieD: I'll miss you, cookie. You are a beautiful person.. and this changed me forever.
QueenieD: Scarlet.. I'll e-mail you.. okay?

VMK_Red emoted a smile.
VMK_Red: That sounds wonderful.

And then QueenieD was gone.

VMK_Red: You know, I always thought you were special when I saw you when the game was at large.
VMK_Red: Remember what I said about some things lost to history?
Cookiepixie: Yeah. Why?
VMK_Red: The game may be lost, but the meaning doesn't need to be.
VMK_Red: Well, goodbye. I'll miss you.

And then VMK_Red was gone.

Cookiepixie looked down at her belt and clicked the LOG OUT button. She hit it and gave VMK a long final look before hitting Yes.

Fantasyland in the Sky was deleted not 5 seconds after she was gone.. the last place to be deleted. The last thing deleted were her final words, which floated in the emptyness before vanishing like all the rest.

Cookiepixie: Thank you VMK.. and goodbye. You will always be in my heart. And Disney - this will never be forgotten.

Madeline opened her eyes to find bright sunshine in her room. Her computer clock read 6:00 AM. It was the day after VMK had closed..
Had it all been a dream?
She stood up and walked over to her mirror. Funny thing was, she didn't feel like she slept on the floor, but she didn't feel the least bit tired. Plus, the memory was too strong for a dream.. right?
Beep! Beep!
Madeline jumped. It was happening again! Then she noticed the email that popped up on her computer. Oh. She just had a email. Even though she was alone, her cheeks went red with embarrassment. Yawning, she clicked the email. Which of her friends would email her this early?
But it wasn't from her friends or anyone she knew. The email address was "[email protected]". She opened it.

Dear Madeline,
I know by now you are questioning the events that passed due to VMK closing. I myself had a moment of doubt, but we both know in our hearts the truth, as you knew the way out. I hope you will always remember my last words to you, even after I deliver the attatched official message from the Disney company. Remember, remember, remember, my dear. That is the only word that really fits now. I hope you will forgive me also, and understand I had to do what was thought right by me at the time.
I have to go now. I am meeting my sister for lunch.

Madeline understood now. She thought of VMK_Red's words to her, before she said goodbye. The email was very careful, as if there were spies in Disney. Probably were. She opened up the attachment.

At the bottom was a number she could call. She recognized it as a number posted on the VMKF that people used to fight the closing.
Ha! The whole letter was business-like. She doubted they cared about anything but how much money they would lose if sued or the press found out.

Madeline hopped up and got ready for school. She knew what she was going to do. It was a list, actually. If only she had enough time. Just to not forget, she wrote a real list down on a piece of extra paper.
