Ocacity? GIMP?

How do you get to it? Im so confused!

Opacity? If thats what your talking about.. - On gimp you
go to the paint brush, burn brush,
or whatever tool your using and move the bar down
or up. Opacity lets you make things almost see through,depending
on how high or low it is.

And for opacity in layers,
you go to your layers box and right underneath where it says "Mode"
and it's a drop down arrow with a bunch of choices,
there is a bar and if you pull it to the left it's more transparency,
And when it's to the right it's less.

You should be at the small window that's titled "Layers"

Yes, I am using GIMP.
Your problem may be you don't have the layers box up.
Press Ctrl and L and then a small box should come up with the different layers on it.
