Does christmas get boring the older you get?

Just wondering, do you think christmas gets boring as you get older? I dont seem to be excited about christmas anymore and i wondered if it was just me :S lol

No way man! I love Christmas!! It's my favorite holiday!! Next to my birthday and not just bcuz of the presents! I love the snow and giving and sort of giving presents

Well for me it gets more boring each year... I don't have snow where I live and I have never even been in snow... So I think it does get more boring each year.

I will always love Christmas because only this time of year all my family is together and i LOVE my grandmothers cooking.honey baked ham!!and i like this Christmas because i am getting a Black Ipod Nano! but no snow down here in arkansas. we are having like 50 - 60 degree weather! luckily i am going to Virginia tomorrow and it will probably snow there. I am not looking toward the 11 hours drive though.Heh. i get to sleep while my mom drives the entire time. hehe

I love Christmas, even as years go by and i get older. I'll still Screech when i see the gift i wanted as i get older, and i'll still run (almost topple) down the Stairs each christmas morning yelling"it's Christmas. It's Christmas."
Truly, The Reason For the season and the excitment and joy Will never come out of me, even my teenager age, even though it will seem childish to do what i do each Christmas morning, but none of my friends from school would be there to watch me do it.

Having realitives come to ur house or u come to their's, really represents you are still willing to Celebrate Christmas with your family.

i see what u guys mean but for my family it is not reall like that though :S None of our relatives come over beacause they live too far away and most of our friends go away so............

I totally agree. I love christmas but it's just not the same after I turned 12

Yes, it is getting boring. When you were younger you asked for 100's of things, Now my list only has about 5 things.

barfownz christmas is NOT about presents it is about spending time with your family and GIVING not RECIEVEING(sp?) the only reason u recieve is because people give

I love Christmas and always will, even though the magic of it has faded with time. My family has traditions like hanging the Christmas ornaments on the tree while listening to Nat King Cole and making gingerbread houses. But now I sing along with Nat and do impressions of Mariah Carey and I eat my gingerbread houses like I'm Hansel and Gretel.

So yes, Christmas magic has blown away like fairy dust over the years, but I'll always love it.
