Question

Just one question,
Would Walt Disney be happy now? VMK is closing down and most likey losing 10,000+ people to come to the parks. I am guessing he would do what we are doing. Trying to stop this madness.

I dont think Walt would be very happy. He would 100% be sad about all of us crying. He would help us save VMK. Lily, the vmk host, is even sad about vmk ending. But I bet yavn is happy! Ugh!

I bet Yavn is looking at all the money they lost crying while eating a churro,

But no, I do not think walt would EVER be happy with this.

As far as we all know, Yavn is a public enemy.

Disney was always about family, magic, and bringing dreams to life.
This is what happens when large corporations take over.
People become numbers.
Bottom lines are the most important thing.

I honestly don't think ya'll are being fair. Yavn should never be viewed, especially by us, as a 'public enemy', nor should we blame him for any of this. I don't know if you realized this but VMK was what he worked for, and because HE is the one who kept it going for so much longer than it was intended to, we can be sure that he loved it. Yavn and the rest of the VMK Staff gave to us all that VMK is and will ever be. The memories that you have with your friends, the rare pins and furniture you worked so hard for, remember that Yavn worked even harder to make those things so that you could have them. Walt Disney wouldn't be looking at this situation in shame or anger. He always did what was best for Disney, and I'm thinking that the cause of VMK's end is financial difficulties or lack of employees able to run it. We all watched as so many staff members bowed out gracefully [and sometimes not-so-gracefully] and I'm sure there was a reason for that. There are plenty of adults playing VMK who are still kids at heart and I know the staff members were the same.
But you have to understand that they have lives just like you and me. They don't simply live for VMK and laugh when we're disappointed. Think of all the times we've disappointed them by laughing at their hard work in cheating at quests or disobeying the VMK Values or even scamming other players. I'm sure they weren't laughing then.
So think twice before you get angry and realize that the VMK Staff loves it just as much as you do. Nobody wanted to see VMK go.
