Pirates of The Caribbean 2 **with SPOILERS**

I just saw Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest last night and I have a question.

1. How is Barbossa still alive?

This suprised me the most in the movie!

2. What was the bonus after the credits?

Barbossa is alive as if you watch the first movie till the end of the credits, Jack the monkey takes a piece of Aztec Gold so then that means that the Curse returns which means that Barbossa can "live" again.

I would answer the second question but I think its like a spolier

I was watching the first movie in a noisy bus on a field with lots of people lol

The chaperones wouldnt keep the movie going until the end of the credits.

2. Last night we were in a group and it was 12.00 at night so I forgot about it lol



Something to think about: If the curse was back then that means that Jack did not die from the Kracken!

ok, it will make more sense if you have actually seen the movie...but remember when the dog with the keys got left behind on the island and was chased after when everyone else left on the Black Pearl? Well at the end of the credits they make the dog king (like they did with Jack Sparrow) and you see the dog with a crown on with a bone in his mouth and all the people are dancing around him. It doesnt sound as funny explained...better if you watch it

jack naver had the curse on him if you payed attention in the first movie.

the curse happend after the mutiny of Jack

Here is a clear-up. I know a small fact, I read it in a pirate behind the scenes book. Barbossa clearly died in the movie. Once the curse is lifted, and you are killed, like Barbossa, even if the curse returned, they would still be dead. The curse is only meant to effect the pirates who are still alive. Hope this cleared a few things up, and sorry if I am wrong

Wow, there are lots of confused people here!

• First off the curse is invoked when you take a piece off the gold from the chest. Which invites the question is the gold cursed, or the chest?
  
• Capt. Jack becomes cursed while fighting with Barbossa at the end of the first movie. Remember the part where he finds a sword in is gut and stumbles into the moonlight revealing a skeleton Jack?
  
• The curse is broken when all the coins are placed back into the chest, and when the blood-debt is repayed. So at the end of the movie the curse is no more, and none of the pirates can be affected by it unless they take a piece of gold from the chest. This is how the monkey became an undead monkey for the second movie.
  
• Barbossa did die, and this presents us with an enticing series of events. Somewhere along the line Barbossa made a deal with Jones. And we know that you have to repay your debt by sending him one soul. Since Jones "died" without repaying his debt he was sent to the locker. He has somehow escaped and ended up at Tia's. However his motives are unclear, and their is no reason he should help in the search for Jack.
  
• And finally Jack is not dead, he is now in Davy Jones Locker!
