24/7 or hourly days?

Hey everyone...i was just wondering what everyone opinions were about this. I was wondering if ppl would want VMK open all day long 24/7 or Keep the opening and closing times (ex. 10am-1amEST). Now i know VMK cant stay open all day long due to thats when they check things and update the game also the Staff memebers need a break and some sleep time. But i am asking if would u want VMK open 24/7 or keep the realistic park idea and have Opening and Closing times?

i think it should be open 24 hours as then i play vmk in morning in the UK but i understand that they cant

same here bc vmk opens at 3:00 in the afternoon till 5 in the morning and i would like to play it before i go to school

I actually like the hourly days. It makes you feel like you are actually in the parks (opening and closing times)

yea regular park hrs bc still go to school and if we had the choice wed stay up at like 12 wen it closes. so its kinda like vmk closed go to bed

People, VMK was made to be open only a limited number of hours per day because of the moderation. That is what makes VMK a safe game to play. If it stayed open 24/7 do you think it would be as safe? It is unfortunate that some people on other time zones have limited access. You either have to get up very early and then quit early--or get up late and it closes late at night. Frankly, I prefer to keep it safe and have VMK staff monitor it and stay open on a limited amount of time.

Incorrect-o. For Pacific-timers, VMK is open 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. For Eastern-timers, VMK is open 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM.

24/7 would be nice on those nights that I can not sleep, but I support the hours they have now. (We must have a safe place for our kids to play!) I have an idea! If they did stay open 24/7, when staff are at home all tucked in there beds, they could disable all chat! lol

the hours are good the way it is, staff need some time to their selfs and when they go to sleep who knows what all those sick ppl would do -quivers in fear-

I used to assist in moderating/working for a company that required 24/7 support online. It was simple to do, they looked for people that would be willing to work those hours.

And currently, I work for a support desk where we have 24/7 support. Those that work the night late shift, want to be there, and don't mind the hours. So it is possible.

But, perhaps the best thing would be to make it open on Friday morning at the normal time, but not close until Sunday night at the normal time, thus allowing Friday overnight and Saturday overnight to play. And the rest of the week close at normal times as they do now, for maintenance.

So, based on that, I think the compromised solution would be best.
