LOL all of these scams are very funny!
i have never been through a scam but i have made one. scammer: sends trade request me: accepts scammer: i am trading rainbow ears!! yavn gave them to me and he said that he made only one copy and a random person would get it! me: (sarcasticley) really? scammer: yeah!! me: could you put it in trade? scammer: it was on invisible mode last time i used it so you cannot see it. me: really? well, guess what? i have a secret program that lets me look in all of Yavn's room at the same time! scammer: really? me: yeah! and he never gave out rainbow ears! but do you want to trade for the download? scammer: yes!!! me: ok, put up an offer. SCAMMER PUTS UP STITCH HAT me: ok, accept the trade and i will tell you the site. WE BOTH ACCEPT THE TRADE me: ok, the site link is ###! now i have to go eat lunch! bye! |

Someone asked me if they could try my Teleport magic out, that they would give it right back. Of course I ended the trade, and reported. But the funny thing was they were wearing a teleport magic. I feel sorry for anyone that they did scam.

Here's a scammer I had to handle, but thanks to this thread, I knew how to handle it well. Take a look...
Scammer: duh Me: ? Scamman: duh do... Me: ?? Scammity: duh duh... Me: Huh? Scammoogler: i am poor can you give? Scammity-scam-scam: :-( Scammy McScam: :-) Me: Well I am poor too, but I can give you some Air! Me: - gives Air - Sir Scamsalot: yay thx! haha I got air Me: *accepts trade (with nothing in it, mind you)* Mr. Scam: *accepts* And thus he got to walk away with a pocket full of Air. lol

Someone scammed me this way:
I was in trade and the person said "*someones username* will report me if i don't pick up an item from you" I said no..... then she said "Please! I don't want to get reported," Finally after like 7 minutes i gave in. i gave her the item. The person she said "was" on my friends list. TURNS OUT SHE WASEN'T! I got scammed by a person saying they would get reported from a "friend" of mine. |

ok this just happened to me like 2 hours ago. I was in a free room telling people that the owner was not in the room and this is how it went:
Scammer: I have fireworks magic for trade: (Checking the signature to see if she had magic on her signature which she didn't) Me: Show me the magic and i'll trade Scammer: Trade me and I'll show you Me: Why can't you show me now Scammer: I'll show you in trade (so we go into trade) Me: ok show me the magic (scammer puts up the bronze, silver, and gold level fireworks pins) Scammer: here it is Me: that is not fireworks magic Scammer: yes it is Me: no it isn't Scammer: yes it is what you have to do is combine them and then it becomes magic Me: no that is not magic cause this is the real fire works magic (i put the fireworks magic up on my screen) (the scammer clicks accept think i will accept it) Scammer: Please Me: no, and by the way you will be reported I close the trade and get the report screen up and guest leave the room, a little bit later after i report the guest came back in the room and i told the guest that they were reported and this is what happened scammer: for what me: for trying to trick me scammer: i didn't try to trick you me: yes you did, you said you were trading fireworks magic but you just tried to trade the three level fireworks pins instead saying that if i combine them they will become magic. scammer: cries, your means. me: by the way vmk staff has seen what went on in the trade request so don't try to deny it or say i am lying. the guest left the room. sorry it is long but isn't it funny? How can some people be so stupid? do tyhey really think they can get away with this? i am sure that the people who get ban for this will just make another account and try all over again.
