Disney - Sued!
I just found out Disney was sued. A comedy writer known by Buddy Sheffield, sued the Disney Co. on Thursday. Allefing breach of contract, breach of confidence, unfair competition, and also unjustly enrichment. It was over the ever so popular show - Disney Channels, Hannah Montana. The Plaintiff said that Disney Stole the idea of the show, and it was originally his idea. The Plantiff stated that He pitched the idea, for a show called "Rock and Roland" He gave the Idea To Disney Channel in 2001. It was about a Young Student who lead a secret identity of a Rock Star. When he sent in the ideas to Disney, They liked it, but didn't go anywhere with it. Soon enough came Hannah Montana, which is about a Teenage Girl, secretly a famous Pop Star.. Then came the law suits. Since it became so popular, and a World Wide craze, with merchandise. cd's dvds concerts, need i go on..Sheffield wants a share of the revenue.

Oh wow, sounds like another Pooh case.
I'm sure that you know this, but persons bring up lawsuits against Disney on a weekly basis. |

I edited the post with more information.
Yes, I do know Disney is sued alot. Just thought this was more of a bigger deal then most of them, since it's about a show we all know and most us love. Plus it made the news.. It was on the Florida news. |

I dont think it would. IF disney is getting sued they will fight it so... And disney kinda made it first even tho they thought of it. Disney owns the rights to it not them so they really cant do anything about it. They can try to sue them but i dont think they will.
