#12 on 50th Mickey Quest

Hello. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could reach #12 the mickey in Tom Sawyers Island. I got to the bench part, but can not reach the mickey across the river. I have been trying for over 1 hour and 45 minutes, so any help would be awesome! Ty in advance <3
