Rockband for Wii

Hey everyone I have a question relating to guitar hero 4/rockband 1 for wii. I bought the full set with everything for rockband and I recently bought Guitar Hero 4 with just guitars.I know the mic from rockband works and I was wondering if it is possible to use the drums from rockband 1 with guitar hero 4? And, if so, how do you get them to work?
Thanks!

They are two different companies. I don't think the instruments will work together.

They won't. I read in Nintendo Power Magazine that the two game's instuments won't work with eachother.

Yeah. Try to stray from rumors and stuff unless they have proof about it.

Oh well it wasn't just a rumor it said online since the two drumsets are different it changes the notes a little bit if your using the rockband drumkit. So yeah I'm just seeing on here if there is anyone who actually has tried and got it to work or something.
