True, the old green staff outfits are rare, but I think there are other things more rare than that. As people have pointed out the yellow travel box and red space suit are also on that list.
What about red crates or red mansion rockers (which were on the mansion quest but when redeemed turned purple). I think yellow slipper seat and yellow or black candles are also on that rare/hard to find list. Bad Pete had a great list of rare items and I agree with that. There is more rare out there than just green staff clothes. |

I would say the red mansion rocker (even though 4 were released in a room makeover recently, it still doesn't affect the value too much) and orange mansion organ are by far the rarest items in VMK.
Behind these two items, I would guess that the Yellow Ariel Treasure Chest, Yellow Slipper, and maybe Eye Pin are the next rarest items.

Having owned and researched the Red Rockers, I know that there are between 10 and 15 of them in-game (including the 4 recently released).
There are about the same number of Orange Organs as Red Rockers. The Gold Ariel has maintained it's number - around 5 in-game. The Yellow Travel Chest and Blue Number Generator were released during Room Makeovers two Februarys ago - there are between 1 and 5 of each of those. The Red Space Suit, though only four in-game, isn't trade-able. Rare? yes. Highly valued? Not unless you value highly things like the New Years '07 and July 4th '07 pins...which are also nontrade-able. There are 2-3 (or so) Girls Staff Shirts, and 1-2 Boys Staff Shirts (though the boys shirt hasn't been seen for quite a number of months...could be none now, which is less than rare ). There are around 8 pairs of Green Baggy Pants, and probably between 30 and 40 Green Flip Flops. There are 1-3 VIP Pins, and less than 100 Mighty Eye Pins. There are hundreds of Infernos, but most people hoard them and don't wear/trade them. There are a handful of Cyan Saucer Chairs and/or Cyan Rocketship Couches. There are 3-5 VMK Star Pins (given by staff for going above and beyond...at one point in time anyway), but aren't trade-able. What'd I miss?.... Other "beta" items (Yellow Slipper) that haven't been rereleased are quite rare, but aren't highly valued. |

I dont think that the non tradeable stuff like the Red Space Suit should count, but maybe it should in a different way

Why are eye pins so rare weren't they released through a staff game?

LOL no, they were actually buyable for a short time, if I'm not mistaken.

iImagine: They were not sold, or there would be so much more.
They were in a host event, and not a lot of people got it. Geggy: I agree with everything you said in the values above. -Goofy |

The Eye Pins were given out <at random> during a three day pin trade event just over a year ago. It was a normal pin trade event (oh, the days of the dc...), and after you asked for your pin the Host might put up the Eye Pin as well as the pin you asked for. Very lucky, indeed!
