Yeah, there's also going to be Cinderella III.. it looks lame, in my opinion.
Apparently, CInderella's stepmother is a witch, and turns back time so that Cinderella doesn't meet the prince or whatever.
It's like... So, all that work that Disney put into Cinderella I goes down the tubes like it never happened? And since when is Lady Tremaine a witch?! @_@ I think Disney reeeeaally needs to quit making sequels to their classics and come up with some new storylines.

Actually, Lady Tremaine steals the Fairy Godmother's wand. She's not a witch.

For one, All the first disney classics can't be beat. They rock ^_^. Mermaid 2, Cinderella 2, both were, ok i guess. But, It gets off base of the true fairy tale. Lion King 1 and 2 were both prefect to me! But 1/2? Nope, didn't like it. POTC Is PERFECT BOTH 1 AND 2.

but anyway....I think they are making a 3 bc, of the new DVD out and the high demand of something; maybe. But what about Snow White? Belle? It seems like they are forgotten...I have not seen 2 of them yet. I remember the DVD of Belle and Beast but not Snow White... And Snow White is the first disney princess.

EDIT: JUST SEEN IT, dude, i think its COOL!
It seems more action-packed suspense flick. I think it will be COOL and the cinderella, it seems kinda interesting

Was anybody really asking for a sequel to The Fox and the Hound? What's next? Return of the Black Cauldron?

Actually, since Beauty and the Beast, Belle has been featured in "Belle's Magical Christmas," "Belle's Enchanted World", and will have a new segment in some Princess Tales DVD that's coming out (And so will Aurora; her first 'sequel' sort of thing ever!)

As for Snow White...well...I think Disney "Animators" are afraid to touch that.

And it must be said--There ARE songs that are iconic of certain classic movies:
You couldn't imagine Casablanca without "As Time Goes By"...You couldn't picture Oz without "Over the Rainbow"...

...And sorry, Sebastian, but "Shake Your Body Line" will always belong to "Beetlejuice". Dare not to touch it.

Only if Disney's planning a 2-disk Cauldron, and desperately needs to flog a bit of memory-jogging ancillary marketing to promote the title to kids who've never heard of it--
Which, um...I don't believe they are, at the moment.

I've managed to stay away from nearly all of the sequels. I did see The Jungle Book 2 and Pocahontas 2, because those looked like they might be somewhat interesting, but they weren't anything special. Oh well. Learned my lesson there.

Of course, I did enjoy Toy Story 2, Fantasia 2000, and The Rescuers Down Under, but those are special cases, not just direct-to-video garbage.

Do merpeople hatch out of eggs, like fish? Or are they born live, like people?

Third sequels are all big mistakes. Most of the time, anyways. With the exception for about two movies..

Neoteny, I have no idea. I think I'm going to google it.

I googled it. They're born live. I found this info here
Go to Edit, find on this page, and search 'born'.
