Chapter 6
After I told Ryan, he just hugged me.
"What was that for?" I asked.
"Cause, you need a friend for this," he said smiling.
I smiled back.
"Don't freak, your mom's boyfriend a stud. She'll break up with him soon," he reassured me.
I wasn't so sure at this though. I shrugged.

Saturday night. Party.
My mom drove me there, I told her to drop me off in the neighborhood next to Don's, just to save myself some embarrassment.
"You sure there's a chaperon?" she asked.
"Of course," I said with guilt.
I walked in the house, there were people everywhere.
I saw Don, and walked over to him as he met my eye and smiled.
"Hey!" he greeted me.
"Hey," I said, as a football flew by my head and broke something.
"Don't worry about it."
I nodded. We walked into the kitchen, and there were bottles everywhere.
"So what do you drink?"
"Um....have juice?"
He laughed, and gave me something. I drinked a little, it tasted kinda weird, but oh well. I just hope it's juice.
"I don't know anyone here..." I said, looking around at all the crazy people.
"Well, they're all seniors at our school."
I guess he had a point, but I was starting to lose my "partying" mood.
He knew I was a bit insecure, so he introduced me to some of his friends.
"Hey guys, this is Faith," he said, as his friends looked me up and down.
"Hey," they all said.
I gave a little wave and smile.
After a while, my tongue felt kind of rubbery.
I think.....uh oh.
"So, wanna go upstairs away from the mess?" Don asked.
I looked at him for a moment, and thought about what I was doing.
"No." I walked outside and waited for my mom to come pick me up.
