That isn't a model number. I know it. That might be your serial number though.

You should take off the serial number. If you ask me, this doesn't belong in this thread. What does belong here is the Processor and Processor speed, etc.

We have four computers and a laptop in the house. I'm only going to list mine, as it's right in front of me

HP Pavillion a1440n
Intel Viiv Technology
Intel Pentium D Dual Processor
2.0 GB Memory
250 GB Hard Drive

Also has a DVD Burner with Lightscribe techology, which I absolutely love. I like to make videos (from home video footage, etc.) and then burn the labels on, comes in handy and the results are really nice and professional looking.

I'll bet you like that Viiv! I HAD one that had Viiv, but shipped it back to HP, since it crashed 2 days after getting it.

Yes, really like the features of the computer. Have had it for about 4 months and is working perfectly. ::knock on wood::

Did they ever figure out what was wrong with it? Maybe something jarred inside or a similar problem. The place where I purchased my computer would not let me take it out of the store until they hooked it up and ran some tests on it. After about an hour, I was finally able to take it home.

The thing I am worried about most is the graphics card. The only option was the Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 950. Now, I am not your typical hard-core gamer, but I do enjoy some games. The computer I currently have does not perform well with Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 (which is my all time favorite game).

Does anyone who has had experience with this particular graphics card have any input as to how it will perform with a game like Roller Coaster Tycoon?

Once again, thanks!

I never used intergrated Video with the MB, im guessing it should be decent, nothing special but idk really how old the game is, you can have the oldest game and the best vid card in teh world and the graphics will still be decent it all depends on how it was rendered and stuff... so expect the least and most of the time ull be surprised, but I would ask others since i never use interegrated stuff such as sound or video

I have the same Video Card and like you, I am also not a hardcore PC gamer.

I do play RCT3. The performance is not the best, but the game is definitely playable. By "not the best" I mean not as good as it would be played on a PC with an Nvidia Card or ATI Card.

The Sims 2 also plays pretty well.

Oh okay. As long as it is decent, I am fine with it.

You see, on my current video card, if you zoom out too much in RCT3, the track pieces begin to disappear (don't ask me why). So I was hoping this video card would not have the same problem.

You don't have this problem with this video card, do you?

I have the same graphics card in one of my old computers! I got it out last night and then I installed RCT3 and there was the same problem. I guess it is fine.

How can it be fine if it has that problem?
