Rock 'n' Roller Coaster - Refurbished

Hi all,

I just returned from another WDW trip, and stopped by our friends at the Disney/MGM Studios, and while we were there we hopped on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.

Boy, has it changed.

The indoor queue is completely different - they took out all but one display case.

The pre-show area is different - rather than there being two sections, there's only one big one.

The alley is still the same, but the queue cuts straight across rather than twisting around the corner.

The ride itself has changed quite a bit - there's tons of new road signs, such as "Whiskey-A-Go-Go", "Taco Time", and many others. There's also new lights and lasers, and smaller road signs reading "Speed Limit ???", "Call Box Ahead", etc. etc.

Pictures are on the way soon - the dark quality of them needs to be fixed.

I'm so sad hearing about the 1 pre-show instead of the two. And the queue is shorter I guess?
Oh well.

They will be adding a single riders line to the Rockin Roller Coaster. Which has long been needed. I was able to ride it when it was still under refurbishment with the lights on, I got to tell you that was a whole lot of fun.

Scary with the lights on. You see how close the track is. I prefer dark and with music

I have heard that if you ride Space Mountain at WDW with the lights on you will never go on it again!

because it's like Skull Mountain in Six Flags parks, it's just a dark room on tracks close to each other and a bunch of wooden planks.

I would probably prefer is dark, too. I gess it makes the ride more *magical*.
And dark, for the first-time riders, they won't see what's going on..

Getting back to the subject...Do we still hang out with Aerosmith, or does the ride now cut to the chase?

i heard that rock' n rollercoaster was the fastest rollercoaster in WDW history but then..

P.S there might be a slight difference what u think is fastest but i've heard this on the wiki, vmk quests and disney information booklet.. but in any cases we all have different imagination ~THINK BRIGHT~
