I got a virus on my computer and it is very annoying. It changed my backround of my desktop to-

And it won't let me change it. When I go to change the backround it won't let me!

Any help?

Install an antivirus or spyware remover.

I have one. I have Norton, they told me its a virus that caused that. It isn't real, it's just to waste money and for me to buy their product.

If you haven't installed anything that you wouldn't be able to install again, I'd try a System Restore.

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Choose the latest restore point that has been created before you had this problem.

This is also able to be reversed if any problems occur afterwards.

Yeah. If it doesn't work, call your computer company and they should fix it.

It might not be a virus. It might be the virus detector changing your background

Right Click on desktop>Properties>Desktop>Customize>Web> Uncheck everything>Hit Apply>OK

Seems like that could be the fix..worth a try

We have Trend Micro PC which is great. Try calling any computer group like the Geek Squad or something.

My friend had this exact same annoyance recently. I'll pm you with the same instructions that I gave her for getting rid of it. If you're familiar with the workings of computers, it's pretty easy to get free help in cleaning it yourself. But if you generally don't understand computer jargon or things like that, it might be best to take it to someone else to do the same thing, although they'll charge you a heafty chunk. XD
