Are you kidding me? (iTunes)
So, it said I had an update available for the iPod Touch. I updated it. It crashed.
ALL of my apps (including the ones I've paid for) are gone. And now it's in recovery mode, and I'm afraid to restore it. What do I do? The iPod is acting as if it's brand new. HELP!!!!!! |

Contact Apple about it before anything else, just to be safe.

If you email apple with the situation, then they can make it so you can redownload everything for free by going to advanced>check for purchases.

-sigh- This is why I don't trust the ipod anymore. Contact the company before you do anything else.

If you still have the apps downloaded onto your computer, you wouldn't have to worry about that... You could just re-sync them. Unless you haven't synced your Touch in a while and have made purchases while mobile. Then they wouldn't be there. In any case, contact Apple; they should be able to help.

You should still have the apps you've paid for downloaded onto your computer... its not like your iPod was your whole computer on the line.... you could also call Apple Tech Support or go to the Apple store itself and sit on one of those counters and ask them for help xD

Clarify " iPod is acting as if it's brand new" does that mean iTunes is too? If it's only your iPod, then iTunes should still have the app's on it, or your acc got logged out in a weird way. Contact apple just for safety.
