Miley Cyrus Legally Changes Name

I think she probably changed it because she pretty much had 4 names: Destiny Hope Cyrus, Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana, and Miley Stewart. Now she's down to 3!

I do feel that the name having to be made such a big deal among a crowd is not worth it, but I respect her decision to change her name. In truth, her father was the one to get her into the business, to teach her the ways, and she changed her name a little by adding a middle name to represent her father, and that shows a certain level of devotion. I can understand where she is coming from with this decision and all we can really do is respect her. Of course, everyone will still call her Miley. I really don't understand how that changed her nickname

Why did she change it? seriously it would be a whole lot cheaper and easier if she just kept her name the way it is and tell people to call her Miley. That is what ace young did on american idol season 5.

I don't see why anyone would bother to do that... I mean sure it's fun to have a name like Miley now, but when you're a 50-year-old named Miley? Kind of strange..

In my opion, a 50 year old named Miley sounds better than I fifty year old named Destiny Hope. Just saying

I believe that when she's 50, she's legally obligated to change her name to one of those old-lady names like Bertha or Eunice or Grandma.

It's not that she didn't like her name. It was that nobody's called her that in 13+ years. Maybe she hated her name, IDK. Either way, she's Miley now!!
