Depends on who you talk to. One theory is that certain now extinct animals that formed the basis of the different dragon myths were actually dinosaurs that survived into the oral history stage of humans.
But in this particular case, yes - there is a distinction, and the Dinoland creatures are not meant to be the dragons of Beastly Kingdom. Which is why there are both a dinosaur and a dragon silhouette on the original AK logo. |

Well, a Dragon land was in the making, thus they put it on the logo. They may have had not enough time/ideas/money etc..to actually finish the land. Doesnt mean the DINOLAND USA, is connected to dragons. If you have been there, there is not a Dragon in sight.
