I have a question....
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but look at this guy's shirt. Has it ever been released? Last edited by Blooregard; 02-22-2008 at 07:21 PM.. Reason: fixed image |

Sadly, VMK has never released this item nor many of the other items seen on In-park quest cards. "New" items are often seen on the promotional materials for the game such as the these only to not be seen in game (or seen yet at least ).
I actually went back and looked over some of my old in park quests and noticed that this shirt (with the Mickey head and the number 5 on it) appears in a long sleeve and yellow-green version on the back of the Disneyland Frontierland In-Park quest. Having been working endlessly on the clothing section of the wiki, I find myself pretty familiar (in some cases TOO familiar) with VMK clothing. So I was interested to see some other clothing item ideas on the In-Park quest cards besides this shirt: Shirt with full Mickey Mouse on it (Frontierland quest card) Navy Blue Haunted Mansion Jacket (over a purple vest) (Insider Tour Pirates Quest) Yellow Explorer Vest over a white T-shirt with camera (Insider Tour Pirates Quest) Thank you for bringing this back to my attention, and reminding me that we have a lot more images that would benefit the wiki

Ok, I've puzzled over this for a few seconds here, and I'm stumped. What is the significance of a Mickey head with a "5" on it? What does that shirt mean?

It probably symbolizes how many seconds it takes until you are stumped with the actual meaning of the shirt... but then of course that would have to mean that it does have a meaning so it seems we are caught in a paradox.

Notice that he is wearing the hat with the hairstyle that you can't wear hats with.

That is very true. This card was developed before VMK became extremely technical with clothing and other items, so I am going to guess that VMK didn't dive into much detail with this but made sure there was detail with the hat, since that was the main goal. As for the reasoning of the 5... maybe there is supposed to be a 0 after it? 50?

maybe it symbolizes how many costumes mickey has been in through the years
OR maybe the 50 idea might be right like when it is released maybe for mickey's 50th anniversary (if that hasn't passed yet)
