Mickey Rugs - Released?

I was surfing around rooms today when I came across this.



Has there been any news of the Mickey Rug's release that I was not aware of? They had "supposedly" deleted all the ones that had been put into the game that one day when they had been handed out at the park - yet I found this one today in a game room.

Anyone know anything about this? Thanks.

No, Mickey Window was the one released from the Movie Rewards.

sorry, i literally got back from WDW this past tuesday,


we went to guest services ( city hall )


And they said, all cards are gone and everything that has to do with vmk in the magic kingdom ( florida ) has been DISCONTINUED.


This was confirmed by shop people too. we asked them before someone said, not sure, go check city hall

That was the way it was released the first time. Perhaps the staff just missed one when searching for them.

I know the mickey window was. I don't remember anything about a rug.

Well i know the window was. But someone told me that it was released in Disney Movie Rewards.

The rug is not suppose to be released. It was given out through error in codes in the past but was taken away. A special cast member won't have any way to get a mickey carpet.

It looks like an edit to me. The mickey rug has a lot of white spots.

That would be odd though if it was released.

Hmm to me, it doesn't look like an edit...I wonder, maybe ask staff using contact us?

It's not an edit. Even the person who owns the carpet is talking about it in the picture. Ive seen a couple more pictures of other rooms that had this. They all look the same to me. But this wasn't released in Disney Movie Rewards, I think there was code error so when they entered in a code, they accidently got that prize instead. But then staff went to them all and took them away.

That is what I had believed also. Which is why I am still wondering why this one is still in-game. One solution I have thought of is that perhaps they entered the code after the rugs were taken away. Not sure if this is accurate or not, but I would guess that the staff have some way to track these (as in the "Davy Jones and Jack Sparrow Costume" incident a while back).
