The Lion King Audition Disney Theatrical Productions is holding The Lion King open casting call for children at the National Black Theatre in Harlem, New York. The highly successful and award-winning Broadway and touring productions of The Lion King will be holding this call in February. We encourage children of all cultural backgrounds to attend. CHILDREN We are seeking children ages 9-12, with a maximum height of 58", who can sing, dance and act to play the African lion cubs Simba and Nala. No performance experience necessary. PREPARE: Be prepared to be taught the last verse of "I Just Can't Wait to Be King." All children must be accompanied by parent/guardian, who must remain at the audition site at all times.
