Funny ways people try to scam!

Hi, we all know there are people who are scammers, but sometimes how they try to do it is funny! Post ways people have tried to do it to you here! I will start out:
This girl asks if I want to come try her game and I said okay. So Im there and she says "Before you play, give me one rare and at the end I will give you inferno!" She wasnt even wearing inferno! She wouldnt tell me how to play ethier!

Note that this is a theard for dumb scams that you are to smart to fall for. Yes, if you do get scammed its sad, but sometimes people do it in the funniest (not to metion weirdest) ways.

Now post funny ways ppl have tried to scam you!

a person from my friends list that I did not associate with much started yelling "Trading Inferno! Trading Inferno!" in a trade room. So i ask him to trade and he accepts invitation. In trade, he asks if I have any rare, so I put my rare and quest stuff in. Then he clicks accept, and I ask where inferno was. He says, "Hold on, I need to get it from a friend, but I will keep your stuff safe for you, don't worry."

LOL, he was on my friends list and I knew he didn't, nor never had inferno.....

In trade
Other Dude: I have inferno, offer?
I put down an offer (a ton of stuff)
Other dude: hmm could you add a rare hat?
I do
other guy clicks accept
Me: Dude, where's inferno?
Other dude: oh yeah I forgot
He logs off

Some people will come up and ask if they can try on my cowboy hat and they will give it right back. It is really a dead give away that they are going to steal it.

ok i was at a trading room and somebody wanted to trade me so i clicked accept and she was like i will give u bat magic for the crown. so i put my crown up and she clicked accept and i was like where is the magic? and then she said oh i have it on my othher account i will get it when u trade with me.

it was also very funny because on her signature it said "trading crown for magic"

LOL peeps come up to me and go want a stitch hat and im like totally!!!!!!! so then we go in trade and they go here i have it on my other account so they ask me 2 give me there stuff but im to smart

okay so this is not my personal story, but I read on this forum of someone who a player tried to scam by saying that the furniture he/she placed in the trade window was "invisible" because of a bug. Now that was the best one I have heard.
Again, this is not my personal story and if you read this and it's you, please share with us again what exactly happened. It will leave you rolling...well it did me anyway!

lol See.low that happened to me.. i was a guest and i put all my good stuff down and he said it was a "bug" and i believed him, then i got scammed. Darn me! I should have known better!

I was a guest, I believe, well it was a few days after Day 1.
There I was in my TRADE room.

I was just sitting there seeing who would come in.
So I saw two feet by the tree.(the tea party room)

I said,"hi"
(It was so long ago I don't remember if it was a he or she)The person said,"hi" back.

The person asked me to trade and I clicked Accept.

Trade Box-

Person- hi
Krystal- hi
Person- can i trade you for your red canoe
(I didn't think it was rare.And it was rare, even back then!)
I had two canoes, so I added one.
Krystal added a red canoe.
Person added a ____(nothing).
Krystal-where is it?
Person- its right there!dont you see it?
Krystal- no.
Person- it must be a bug. but it is there.
Krystal- are u sure? (yes.. I used to use unproper english.. or spelling)
Person- yeah.i wouldnt lie to anyone!
Krystal-ok
Krystal accepted.
Person accepted.

Trade ended.

I looked in my invetory and nothing there except the stuff I had before.

Krystal- wait! it's not there!
Person ran away.

I felt so mad. Lol. Atleast I know better now.

Uhm actually this is a real bug. If somebody adds something before somebody else clicks the OK button when trading with the opposite gender, it truely is not visible.

Now that Tikis are no longer in the shop a new scam has emerged. This happend to me last night:

Me: accepts trade
Scammer: What are you trading
Me: Puts up lots of quest and rare stuff
Scammer: I will give you very rare beta for all that
Me: OK show it
Scammer: Puts up 1 red Tiki
Me: That is neither rare or beta it is just retired
Scammer: No it beta i promise there are only 10 of these in all of vmk
Me: Oh so the 50 of those I have are rare beta also then huh?
Scammer: Show your 50 you lie i bet you not got any!
Me: YOu are so right I am so sorry I lie, I will make an offer for your beta Tiki
Scammer: Good give me all your rare because this is beta
Me: Hmm, lets see what should I give you i know how about a stitch hat
Scammer: Really you will give me a stitch hat for this
Me: Sure I will let me find it
Scammer: wow that is cool but i need more than stitch hat for beta tiki
Me: Hmm how about a black rocket, yellow slipper and 2 inferno also
Scammer: It is a deal
Me: ok let me go to my room and get rocket and slipper wait here
Scammer: ok I wait
Me: ok wait it may take me a few minutes to get back
Scammer: ok I wait
Me: leaves trade, reports the scammer and leaves room not to return

I could just picture him sitting there waiting for me to come back, haha the scammer got scammed!

then this one time i was on habbo and i was in a room that said " do u play VMK? come in here!" So i went in there and as soon as i went in there a guy said " ok now give me your pass and usernamefor VMK and we will let u in. And i left right away.

lol yeah the people there even had rooms about toontown and coke music but habbo was always so dumb i quit like in febuary and never came back i did leave some really good friends behind tho...

Anyway about vmk here is a scam that i had its kind of original but yeah
Ok there was a room that my (ex-friend) was hosting called "Free furniture and magic" (you know) and here is the play by play.(also we both had accounts on toontown and we even secret chatted etc)

Scammer aka ex-friend:Hey Lostsoulz i'm glad to see you
Me:its nice to see you too
Scammer:Lost i was wondering if you could let me try your crown on it looks so pretty i want to know what it will look like with my outfit.
(I had the same combination outfit so i put it on for her to show her what it looked like)
Me:Ok you dont have to take it to see what it looks like now what do you think
Scammer:I think your a mean girl and i wont be your friend anymore if you dont let me have it i will report you for being mean and you will be gone forever! (lots of lol's)
Me: Do it because i dont want to be your friend anymore (what she didnt know was that i reported her when she asked me about the crown and just as i saw...a cl come in (thank gosh) (and im pretty sure you know the rest of the story!)
