Walt Disney Presents "Disneyland" / Walt Disney's Wonderfull World of Color
Who loves watching these great shows... I loved them for seeing how disneyland's construction happened in just under a year.. (and look at them now taking a long time to build a single ride.. lol)

I did watch that show when it was part of "Vault Disney"'s line up...
I loved that show whenever they showed a Walt Disney World special... |

I posted this in the Zorro thread, but it's just as relevant here:
When Bob Iger was handling questions at the Disney Shareholder's meeting, he was asked whether the Disney Channel would show those old programs again. He said the ratings did not justify it. However, Disney is now again embracing the idea of making programming available through disney.com, and he said as a result of the question, he would have them look into placing those old shows on the Internet for download. |

The reason for this is while ratings may have been low (are the ratings for the newer line up higher at all?? what kid watches the same stuff at that hour?) they can show them online and get more money from the promos that will be running with all the shows (money per viewing of whatever promo I think)
At least we might get to see classic shows we enjoyed..

I've been buying all of the Walt Disney Treasures releases, which include several episodes of various Disney television shows from the '50s and '60s. I hope they continue to release such fun and fine DVD sets.
