How did your family make more than 1 account without using credit card? Or did you use credit card also?

We have credit cards. Actually, we already had eBay accounts.

They did require a credit card for my msn e-mail account (and charged me $1.00) but not for my verizon account.

They charge a $1.00 to make sure that the account is correct. Would be just like going to use a gas pump and charging at the pump, it's to verify that the card is alive and not over-limit. Then when you finish a sale. ie: sell something on e-bay, they will charge you at that time for the fees (though I believe that for ebay, they just charge for all seller fees at the end of the month).

I got mine to work just by re-starting the computer. Then I got the message from eBay. Try that and see if it works.
