Game Suggestions?
Well, I'll be getting my desktop back from repairs soon.. and am going to want to play another game after VMK closes.
So, I'm looking for suggestions. The game can be downloadable, but I'd prefer if it wasn't a Pay to Play game. I'd also like it to be MMO, maybe MMORPG. Things I've Tried: - MapleStory: I actually quite liked MapleStory. After teetering between MapleGlobal and MapleSEA for a few years I kinda quit on both. The thing is it gets a bit repetitive. - FlyFF: I found this awfully boring. You run and click an enemy to kill it. Whee. - Trickster: Again, kind of boring. Kinda the same thing where you just run up and click to kill. So yeah, suggest away! And thanks in advance. |

Tales of Pirates is fairly fun. It's a downlaod, much like Maple Story. It's free, and I played it so much that I got sick of it and can't go near it right now. haha The graphics are what I enjoyed most. Game play is "click to attack", but you choose a class and build up properties, can fight in a party, etc. There are quests, events, etc. And of course, a cash shop area for people who want to spend a bit of money on the site and have the fancier items. It does get boring and repetitive after a certain amount of time, but it's alot of fun up to a point.

Maybe TribalWars? It is quite repetitive and you cant see your character but you can really get into it, (Unable to post game) is opening in 6 days if you want to check it out, Runescape was a great MMO imho, and a few more
Atm im really into tribal wars and except (Unable to post game) they all have the option for pay to play. |

RuneScape is an amazing MMORPG. Don't let the graphics turn you off. I'd suggest that you try it out; for a game including both free-to-play and pay-to-play, the free-to-play is amazing. Of course pay-to-play is even better. I used to play it but I stopped a month ago, I may play again; but I'm not sure.

Well I did try Runescape ages ago.. and I don't believe I was that fond of it.
Anyway, until I can find something better, I'm going to switch over to MapleStory SEA. (I prefer SEA to Global because there are less hackers, scammers, etc. Only problem is the language barrier ;D) So, anyone have any more suggestions? Last edited by Zimonada; 05-17-2008 at 03:41 AM.. How long ago did you last play RS, exactly? It has changed a lot in the past few years (they are also coming out with much better graphics soon). And ccooldudecool, I would suggest you don't give negative feedback until you've really played a game.
I would suggest that you don't play MS. It's really boring. Even if you find it fun for a time, it will most likely become pretty boring, pretty fast. From what I've seen you just fight, fight, and fight. Grinding games centered around nothing but fighting are pretty repetitive. In addition it seems to be really easy to hack. Not very good for an MMO. I've never played Guild Wars, but I believe that you have to pay for it. And I believe it's also very addicting, so maybe you shouldn't try that. Have you tried Habbo Hotel? People can be rude but it's fun to mess with. Similar to VMK. It seems that the best stuff is stuff that you have to pay for, though. |

I suggest you don't try Gaia. It's not really that fun. I mean, i go on Gaia everyday, but only to chat with friends because I hate the phone, plus I can talk to a few friends at once, and have many different conversations goin. But, unless you like sending messages to friends, I wouldn't really try it...
There is a virtual world on Gaia, but no ones ever on, so it isn't that much fun. |
