How To Make 3-D Text
**Note that this works on both Photoshop and Photo Filtre. I have not tested it on GIMP but I have a feeling it will work on there too**
Step 1: Open a new template. It can be any size. If your making a transparent text, be sure that the template is, well, transparent!
Step 2: Go to your text tool and choose a cool font. Note that this works better with thicker fonts. (Waltograph UI, Pharmacy, Cheri, and Disney Comic are some good ones)
Step 3: Type your text in a cool color. DON'T make it black!
Step 4: Make a new text layer. Type the same text in but make it black.
Step 5: Make the text layer with the black wording behind the colored layer. [[send to back]]
Step 6: Move the black text layer so that it shadows the colored text
Step 7: Add any cool details! [Hearts and stuff!]
Your final product should look something like this:
