How to Make Gradient Text on Photoshop: 5 EASY STEPS!
**NOTE: May work with other programs. I have not tested it, but this is mainly for Photoshop** step 1: type your text. this may work better/be more noticeable with a bolder font step 2: go to layers>new layer>hit "ok" step 3: go to the gradients tool and choose a gradient. place it across your layer step 4: press CTRL-G step 5; save it[: Depending on the gradient you used, it should look something like the one in my signature. Enjoy! |
When I try it, the gradient goes over the whole thing and covers the text so I can't see it.:( Help?:(

1) What program are you using? 2) Did you create a new layer? |
1. I'm using GIMP. I would use my brother's PhotoShop, but it goes uber slow:(
2. Yes, I made a new layer:) I think it might be because I'm using GIMP. =| |
Yea it doesn't seem to work that way on GIMP. I'll try to find out. [:
