UPDATE : I'll give a bit more info about the game if you didn't know or didn't watch the video yet. The guppies are so cute, and they aren't fish either. The girls in the game are so realistic that I am positive that you'll have to download it. It's g-rated and safe, but it's not limited chat either. You can chat freely as long as you follow the rules. So, if you are a girl, this one is probably worth trying out, but it's up to you if you want to or not.

So you won't have to download it? I was just saying because I translated their website in the different language to English to see if they gave more info and you have to download it. I didn't actually play because everyone would be speaking Danish on there. LOL. Maybe they'll make it different for English..? IDK. Well, we will see when it opens!

I'm NOT going to an all-girl environment.

I have a character on Pixie Hollow that I made for my fairy-fanatic mom, Harmony Thunderfluff.

It was meant to just be used for the custom t-shirt for her- I never played the game as it's all-girl.

I don't care if there are other guys there! I seem to remember there being only girl avatars available!

So there are boy fairies now? I remember seeing a couple in the trailer for the Tinkerbell DVD movie.

All they give you is that it's coming out in Spring, but I'll research more about it.

If you look on GuppyLife, they say it's for girls, and they don't mention anything about boys. Sorry to all the boys. Also, I don't believe this game is really girly, if you look at the trailer. It's really more of the taking care of pets that really attracts girls...and more of the only being girl avatars. xD If boys want to try it, that's fine. But keep in mind there are only girl avatars and the game is specifically made FOR girls.

I'll research more of this so I can see if I could find a release date, or at least a month. Something more specific. I'm looking forward to this game. Hope I helped!

I'm not going to any game where I'd be forced to make a girl avatar.

I will admit that in Everquest 2, I selected fairy as my character's race, though it's a boy character.
This is because they don't take falling damage and certain classes get invisibility with fairies, and there are some speed bonuses.

a only girl game? thats game is a REALLY bad idea, Im a boy and u know why I think is a bad idea? bc boys will go in pretending to be girls and... well u got what I mean. I dont mean that u shouldnt play it, just be cearfull girls. (btw I would NEVER do that)

I think this game is taking a while to open. Hopefully it opens within weeks or even a month. I'm just excited!

In the meantime, while we're waiting for GuppyLife to open, there's another virtual world for girls. It's called AllGirlArcade. It has lots of games & their very own virtual world, SparkCity. In SparkCity, you get your very own character & apartment and it has dictionary chat which filters out words that are not in their chat dictionary, like VMK's. It's overall fun. Post on this thread if you try it out and what you think of it.

If you check the GuppyLife website, now it says will be available in English later on, so I don't know when that is. Looks like they're running later than planned. Oh, well.
