Epic Mickey

Okay, I stumbled upon this amazing website thingy.

It seems someone is in the process of designing a new video game (kinda looks like Kingdom Hearts). Right now on the website, which I can't post probably because the mods will find something wrong with it ;) it says it's only going to be for the wii but check out these pictures..

I remember a worker at GameStop talking about some new Kingdom Hearts Reserving. Looks like the Disney-Apocalypse.

Yes it does, I think it looks really cool and I really enjoyed Kingdom Hearts so I would definetly play this.

That KH game would be the new DS one coming out in September.
Or Birth By Sleep for the PSP.

Maybe it's saying that Disney is mostly focusing on what's new, and not enough on the classics, and that the parks will eventually fall to ruin. Oh yeah! I can be deep!

Omg it looks epic!

acefredfred 08-01-2009 09:26 AM

Interesting.. I might play it when it comes out.

Apparently it's not going to be quite the epic RPG some people were hoping for. It looks as though it's a Wii exclusive, and follows a storyline where lesser/forgotten Disney Characters, led by Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, rise up against Mickey and attempt to destroy the Disney empire. Your task is to restore color to the worlds... with the Wii remote. Like, um, painting. I think.

I dearly hope that's not it, and that it's an awesome third-person shooter/RPG where you get to choose to be either an awesome girl or an awesome guy and you go around being awesome and saving the Disney empire from Oswald and his minions.

whoa... nice graphics. ROFL, the second pic has weird boat-worms-cup-hand-thingy with faces of the dwarfs from snow white

BuzzBoy133 08-01-2009 08:36 PM

Yeah.
I like the first one. :)

@racoon : The kingdom hearts thing is 358/2 days O_o.

and it doesn't look like Kingdom Hearts to me at all... maybe Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden but not really KH to me. It looks like Gothic and Disney threw up on one another and mashes together one game that combines the two.

LordIllidan 08-01-2009 10:35 PM

No, it's not going to be a Kingdom Hearts game. It's being made by Junction Point Studios, a Disney-owned game development group in Austin, Texas, and (if the current rumors are to be believed) will be a game about lesser-known/forgotten characters like Oswald and the Lucky Duck rebelling against the current Disney Empire. Rumors say that current gameplay will use an Okami-style paintbrush system where the player will be able to alter and erase the surroundings in order to fight the rebellion.
