URGENT: laptop problem!

Yeah so I've had this laptop since June 19 of this year. It's been working out pretty well for me. Until like a few days ago. Sometimes, it makes this really annoying clicky sound (like from the actual computer part of it). Sometimes when I go to restart it, it doesn't restart and it just goes to sleep, and it doesn't wake up. And then I gotta yank out the battery and put it back in and.... yeah, I sense a problem.
It's a Dell, not sure which kind. It has Vista. And PLEASE don't give me any of that "oh it's Vista and Vista is baaaad so that's your problem." Quite frankly, I like Vista, and that so called advice is just not helpful. I need real helpful advice 'cuz this is starting to get annoying.

If it's a problem with the computer itself, I would send it in or call tech support of Dell. They can help you much better than we can, because they know the build of their computer.

Yeah I know, I should've worded it better. It was more like I was wondering if it had happened to anyone else and they could tell me how they fixed it.

Something like that happened to mine, every time I turned it on the computer it would keep on restarting go into sleep mode then restart again. I called tech support and had to ship it back 4 repairs, I suggest calling It could be a virus ( that's what they say mine was but I don't believe them. )

I really don't know since this has never happened to me, but it's probably a good idea to do what Brain said.
Call the tech support of Dell and they should be able to help you.
