VMK Policy on changing for character title

Here is the official response I received as to how the a character name/title:

Thank you for contacting us regarding your VMK Character Name.

Changes to VMK Character Names are only made when the player has a legitimate reason for requesting the change. We ask that you provide that reason to our team.

If you are simply tired of your name or do not like the name you originally selected, please feel free to register a new VMK Character at the VMK.com Homepage.

If you would still like to change your VMK Character Name (or if you are a parent requesting a change to your child’s character name), please reply to this e-mail with the change you are requesting. We will review the circumstances and, if possible, grant the request.

Thanks and see you in VMK soon!

the reasons are bizzare u have to tell them. lol i've tried but i can't seem to lie to vmk so i just make a new account hehe

Got a reply, again from VMK_Shorty saying

Just tell them your idea for a new name, have a legitimate (logical) reason, or become a staff (Like that'll ever happen).

If your name IS reset, and you provided a name to VMK in Contact Us, don't expect it to be that name. If you're a guest when you log in, it may be because..

Your provided name isn't avaliable
You have provided a name with 'bad' stuff in it
You didn't provide a name

REMEMBER

VMK has the right to revoke your current name at any given time
Names can already be taken, even if that account wasn't used in a long time
Don't be embarrased if you are a guest; I once saw a guest with inferno and sparrow
Some events take priority over name changes. I had to wait three ddays for my reply.
VMK supposedly only allows 1 name change per 6 months, so if you might not like the name you are typing in, STOP and think.
