Is it Possible to make our own VMK?!?
Well, as your noticed. VMK closed and I am wondering if we have rights to make VMK or recreate it?!? I been getting many posts about if you will do this project. So tell me what you guys think!!! :mickey:

Well I think you can if you modify everything, clean the pictures, and make them look different, im not sure tho. But I do know that you absolutely can NOT make vmk all over again making it look exactly the same, unless Disney gave you permossion.

No we can't because Disney owned VMK. If we did they would sue us for a lot of money.

Think about how much money you're going to have to pay. And VMK is owned by Disney and Sulake, unless you know how to zap up kazillion dollars, then we can either have it, or get sued. which ever is better :P

There's was around all the copyrights and trade marks. It'd be risky and it'd take A LOT of time and effort. Not too mention, probably a whole ton of expertise on the subject of web design and such. We could honestly do it though. My teacher who I'm good friends with is a lawyer in that kind of field so I could ask him about it. We really honestly could though. It's just a matter of time, patience, and knowledge. And money to a certain degree.

I GOT IT! We dont need staff, we can be the staff OURSELVES! And then it could close at certain times so the staff could go to school, go to sleep, etc. And we could make a super-staff room that only we could go into and the vmk users could druel. =) 1. the 'Frontierland, Fantasyland, etc.' Could be like Metro Station for tommorowland (may i request we get our NPC back), Dream World for fantaslyland, Wild Wild West for Frontierland, The Palace for guestrooms, Down Town for Mainstreet and Adventure World for adventureland (i came up with nothing). 2. Rooms can be based on what happened in those Eras. Like the shop in fantasyland could be Extravangantic Dream Exports (get it, exported from dreams ...?) 3. We can be Host_WAFFLES!!! <<dont steal mah name LOL 4. We can always ask VFK friends and really smart people with computers (my dad) for help. 5. WE HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER!! ♥hz. |
