♥♥Free Microphone Recorders?

Does anyone know a good program for recording sound on your computer? I want to make some MP3s of my voice, but I can't find a free program... only tutorials...

If someone could PM me the download link, that would be fabulous! Thanks!

I don't have any idea where you could download a free one.
But if anyone does I would appreciate if you could send me it too.

If you use Windows, there should be a program called Sound Recorder already installed.

Oh there is xD
Do you need to buy a microphone for that?

Well.. If your using windows, like Trillen said, theres
that sound recorder. You can also use WMM [ Windows Movie Player]
and press record sound. But that saves
it as a video file. Another recording system
I know is a trial. Its called Acoustia. It records sounds
and saves them as .MP3. I have no idea about apple, since
ive never used any of there products. XD

Audacity can record as .wav, and you can get a file (just search for it on google) to record into mp3s.

You can actually plug earphones (such as iPod headphones) into your microphone plug in your laptop/computer and it actually works. But not really well.
