Smoop 09-13-2005, 07:40 PM Yesterday when I took the Pirate Quest, I got the Haunted Mansion room. Perhaps it's because they don't have the cards ready yet. Makes sense... now my question is WHEN will the have the Pirate Prison rooms ready? I actually called the cinema on Main Street (VMK Headquarters), since I live around WDW, and they said they do not have the pirate tour now and they do not know if they are going to have it. They said DLR has the pirate quest since they couldn't do HM quest while the HM was closed for the holiday redecorating. And since WDW does not decorate HM for the holidays there is no need to change the HM quest at WDW to a pirate quest. They said they MAY have the pirate quest in the future, but not for a while, if at all. Pirate quest is a series 2 quest and they have not been told about series 2 quests coming out this year at WDW. THey did say HM will be closed at WDW in November for 1 week for it's yearly cleaning/fixing and that MAYBE they will have the pirate quest then, but they have not been told one way or the other if this will actually happen yet. Hope that helps someone. I have a free weekend in 2 weeks so I will pop over to WDW and see about the pirate quest and if I can get more info at the park. According to our guide, the new PoTC room had a glitch and so they could not release it publicly yet. So if you still need the HM room, there's still a chance to get it. What they did is give it a new name, instead of fix the upside down room...so this means they have to now create new cards with codes so that everybody will get the Pirate Cannon room. In looking at both the "Pirate Prison" room and the "Pirate Cannon" room, they both look the same. But, when will the new cards be out...nobody seems to know or is willing to tell. Um I myself was on the tour today 10/17/05 the tour at 1:30 at Disneyland Resort and after getting all the Pirate Quest Questions correct. I DID recive the Pirate Cannon room. So I am not sure what you got. But I DID get the new Pirate Prison Room. I am a little clueless here. Pj MiniParis, The quests are free to do, just get the quest cards at the real VMK on Main Street USA (again,free). The only thing to remember is that the quest questions can be tricky so you need alot of time, then more time for the tours. They cannot be completed in just an hour or two.
