Yesterday, my computer got spyware :( So I'm looking for a way to get rid of it ( I'm on a different computer now ). What can be the best way to get rid of it?

P.S. How do I change my password for vmk?

I would suggest downloading a spyware checker/remover program. I have MSN Webroot Spysweeper and it works great. I'm not really sure if it's a free download, but I think it may be.

For the changing of the VMK password try searching this forum for similar threads. There's likely to be some out there... :9rr: CL_MsFantasyGal

I recommend a program called Spybot: Search and Destroy.

You can find the download link here:

Whatever you do, don't buy spy sherrif. Its a scam that tricks you into paying $50 for something that doesn't work. I almost fell for it, but decided to do some research first.

As TravisSch said, get spybot that is a great program.

Than get this trial of adaware.... http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10399602.html?tag=lst-0-1

and than to finish it up get CCleaner(its nothing to do with spyware really, it just cleans up all unessary files and things that might of been left behind of the spyware that takes up room)... http://www.download.com/CCleaner/3640-2144_4-10547048.html?tag=tab_ur

there all safe programs that doesnt cause problems but eliminates them

Well that site is scary. Lol. Just wondering, it looks like it is Disney copyrighted and owned by disney and all, but i am just making sure. It is disney owned and operated right? And completely safe?
