Well, I have Windows XP. I deleted an account (on Windows XP) with all my pictures and importent stuff. My question is, is there any possible way to get an account back?

(Sorry if this is in the wrong section. You're free to move it, mods.)

You can do a System Restore, but I doubt that it will restore all the files. You can try it though. Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> System Restore --> (Follow the directions on the screen).

yeah always try system restore...BUT if u want to get down to the nicks and crannies of XP sometimes it leaves the my documents folder in the users folder... Go to ur C:(drive), the folder WINDOWS than Document Settings and go through all the account folders and look for the pictures(if u saved ur files in the my documents do this tho) also i would be best if ur account is an admin or go on the admin's account to look thru the folders...im not 100% on this but it has worked for me and never hurts to try

Go to ur C:(drive),
Lol. And it isn't in there in Windows XP. That was in Windows 2000 and below. In Windows XP, it is just in the C:(drive) and then to Documents and Settings.

What does the computer brand name have to do with it? Windows XP is completely seperate from the fact that it's a Dell, HP, or whatever.

Unless you're suggesting he send it in for repairs. :D
