I have been in several trade rooms the last 15 minutes, and everybody says "Send request again, trade window did not open" or something like that. I have even been involved in a few of these exchanges. What's going on?

It's a bug, you can only trade in rooms like town square, main street ect.

Sometimes if you logg out then back in it works just fine.

Are you able to get in the game? Alot of us are getting black screen.

Ah, I am getting the black screen. The place I usually go when trades aren't working is Town Square, trades most of the time work there.

I sent this bug to VMK and they just asked me how long has this been happening the exact details what computer i am using model everything. I believe they may think it may be a computer problem instead of a VMK problem
