here is my whole disneyland/vmk insider tour report!!


i woke up at 6:00 AM and i got ready for my disneyland day! we left at about 8 and got there at 9ish. i was so stressed and nervious that the tour was going to run fill up. i finally got there and bought my ticket rucshed in the turnstiles running as fast as i can to the booth, butttttt there was a few stops. i took a pictures of the plaqe that says "here you leave today, etc" and then hopped the railing and took a picture of the dedcation plaqe of walt's speech, ran over to tomorrowland entry and found a car scratcher gavaway thing (of course i didnt win). so i was breathing heavly and asked the CM at the booth "Is the 1:30 tour filled!" he said nope. (by the way my plan was to meet NaviMap there, which i did. (he is a great guy, he gave me some tips and hints on the tour on what the guide will say next or watch out for)

so i was waiting for the tour and i met up with these VMK people i didn't know until during the tour

it was great, we all had a great time. navimap was mooching of my pirate quest spoilers. daceplanet i met after the tour, i didnt know who he was until i over heard someone say his name. everyone on the tur was nice, our tour guide was great. that was about it.


but after the tour i went to the magic shop and bought something he gave me a magic mirror card, then bught something at candy store, the CM gave me a vmk card then before closing i bought something else at the magic store, and guess what! all i asked for was how many cards you can give me. he said here you go

he gave me 4 magic mirrors!

sounds like you had an awesome time. now do you lvie out in cali or were you there on vacation... (although considering you have internet acess i would guess you live) now for tour do you have to the quests b4 you can go on it or do you have to just sign up?? sounds like it was a fun time cant wait untill i go down to florida next!

guess what! the tour guide showed us a list of furniture and there is a new "Gambling Table" coming out
Originally, i thought it was a salad bar or a pig's trough.

There was a page in the tour guide's book that showed huge variety of VMK Furniture, there was the typical furniture but in different colors and there's was one particular item on the upper left of the page i never saw before. Still I find it funny but kind of hard to believe (and still skeptical that kind of item would be introduced) there would be gambling table...I can just imagine the number of guest room casinos popping up overnight.

Can you use the Spoilers on the Tour? If they see you, will they get mad?!

Depends on the tour guide. Some of them actually encourage you to "share and help" each other out in getting the answers (or they joke about the fact that everyone got the quests 100% right). It doesn't seem that they really mind if you share your answers in the pirate quest (from the couple times i've been on the tour). However, they already give you the questions and hints of what to look for beforehand to find the answers plus the pirates quest has very easy questions.

Cool trip report!! I went on tour on my birthday in Sept and it was not crowded on a Thursday and I got in around 1pm and still was able to sign up for 5pm trip.
I got the CM tourguide who is in the picture in the VMK pages about the DL quests! Did you happen to get the girl CM tourguide who likes shiny things??
She was nice too that my friends did her tour when they visited from the East Coast. THey got to do the Haunted Mansion quest and when I went it changed to Pirate quest. Thanks for sharing your tour experience!

I think that's her name!! My friends said she was fun and said Oohh..Ahhh..like Shiny!! Like couches!! LOL that was cute!

I've taken two tours when she was the tour guide, she picked on DisneyRockz and gave him the nickname "Fire arms" because she thought his shirt had a outline of a gun on it but it was actually shirt of the state of Florida (The shirt was kind of covered by his backpack, then she made intentional weird laughter while the tour group was riding Big Thunder Mountain and joked that it was DisneyRockz or his friend who was doing it.

The tour was very fun and it was nice to meet you Shaun, and it was nice to meet Navimap as well. (I am in awe of his fireworks skills, as I have yet to even earn my pin!) I was there with two other friends, Jellyrolls and Poohbrlvr and her daughter Kallie.

Our tour guide Albert showed us pictures of the Jungle Cruise pin set and the Haunted Mansion pin set. I'm looking forward to the giraffe and I think it was a hyena that is coming out on the jungle cruise set. Barfownz, do you remember, were those the two that are still coming out?

I had a great time on the tour and only wish I could do it again (and again)! I live close enough, it's that darn 90 day rule that gets me! ;)

Am I the only one here who hasn't been on the tour? I went for 3 days to Disneyland for my friends birthday, she invited me, but sadly she isn't into VMK, so she A)Didn't want to do the quests, and B)Didn't want to do the tour, even if we finished the quests.
I'll probably go during thanksgiving, I am so excited.
The new Space Mountain is great, I went on so many times. Once right before the park closed, and it said there was a 70 minute wait, but it turned out to be like 25. It was so nice because the line is partly outside, and usually it would be really hot but it was pretty. The next day we went on as much as we could, but we went once without a fastpass and it really was like 80 minutes, so we got fastpasses for the rest of the rides. It rocked!
